It's been a couple of years since we highlighted small cup large band bras. And I wondered if there's anything new to report.
After a quick search of the leading lingerie retailers, I didn't find many new brands targeting this market. At least not like those going after smaller band/full bust cups. But, thankfully, there is now more to choose from beyond wire-free options.
Today's post focuses on this variety: from strapless and multiway options to balconette, push-ups, and plunge bras. You'll also find front-closing and longlines, and even on-trend strappy styles. Of course, this list doesn't come anywhere near what's available to standard or deep cup bra wearers. And I'm not sure if that's due to a lack of demand or if those in need of wider bands with smaller cups aren't more vocal. It could also be that today's hot bralette trend fulfills their foundation needs.
If you're in this size range, you'll likely recognize those listed below. Leading Lady is still the only one that makes A cups up to a 56 band. But Elila---which goes up to a 54 band---now offers their best-selling microfiber bra in an A cup. Many others don't venture below B cups or above 48-inch bands.
