As holidays go, Christmas has to be my favorite.
I love it all: the music, the sparkly decorations and the excuse to dress up in dramatic or kitschy outfits. I am the crazy lady who puts up her Christmas decorations on Thanksgiving afternoon and starts stashing advent calendars in October.

The holidays are an excellent time to embrace all things you might not wear during the rest of the year. It’s a great time to go big and try something new---or just indulge your wish to wear wacky holiday prints without any judgment. If you, like me, are planning to spend the holidays indulging your holiday wishes then this is your guide.
Crushed Velvet Bralette & Velvet French Cut Brief Panty by Lane Bryant:
Crushed Velvet Bralette & Brief Available in 2 Colors Sizes 14/16 to 26/28 via Lane BryantLane Bryant pieces don’t always grab me, but this crushed velvet lingerie set is perfect for the holidays. The color is slightly unexpected, while the lace and velvet fabrics give off great winter vibes.
Luna Body By Figleaves:
Luna Body Available in Bands 32 - 38, Cups B - G via FigleavesIf you want to look like an actual Christmas tree ornament, this is a great option. This basque is gorgeous, affordable and goes up to a G cup! If you want to add some sparkle to your lingerie collection, you can’t go wrong here.
Classic PJ Set with “Merry and Bright” Embroidered Pocket by Bedhead Pajamas:
Ivory Cotton Classic PJ Set w/Embroidered Pocket Available in Sizes 1X - 3X via Bedhead PajamasI’ve tried a bunch of other pajama brands since they seem to keep crossing my path, but I still think Bedhead is the best out there. They make almost all of their pajamas in an actual full-size range (up to a size 26), and their classic menswear-inspired pajamas are just fantastic. This simple but perfectly embroidered pair would be excellent for the holidays.
Star Bright Baby It’s Cold Outside Tote from Kate Spade:
Star Bright Baby It's Cold Outside Tote via Kate SpadeI was given this last year in red for my birthday, and I used it all season long (even on 70 degree days in “winter” ). If you don’t live in a sub-tropical climate, this bag is probably even better. It’s big, carries a ton of stuff and stands up to a decent amount of wear. It’s also insanely cute and seasonally appropriate.
Audrey Christmas Baking Print Swing Dress by Lindy Bop:
Audrey Christmas Baking Print Swing Dress Available in Sizes S - XL via Lindy Bop
Lindy Bop has stepped up their print game over the past few years and have become a destination for fun novelty prints in a vast range of sizes. Their holiday lines are always adorable and budget friendly. I bought their alpine print last year and loved it and got this baking edition this year. Their current crop of dresses is made from a scuba fabric that has tons of stretch but doesn’t distort the print, which makes it perfect for us curvier holiday fanatics. I fit into an XL in this, with enough stretch to pull it over my head when I put it on.
Tamara Forest Green Black Lace Curve Bra and Curve Brief by Playful Promises:
Tamara Forest Green Black Lace Curve Bra and Curve Brief Available in Band Sizes 30 - 36 and 38 - 42, Cups A - I via Playful PromisesThere’s no better excuse than the holiday season to pick up this gorgeous and risqué set from Playful Promises, now available in full bust and curve sizes. They’ve just extended their line up to an H cup next year, so there's a good chance you'll fit into this collection.
Velvet Pencil Skirt by Eloquii:
Velvet Pencil Skirt Available in 3 Colors Sizes 14 - 24 via EloquiiNot everyone wants or wants to indulge in a full velvet ensemble, but this skirt has just the right amount of holiday cheer. You can pair it with anything, including a nice basic black jacket and boots.
Nicole Black Plunge Bra and Brief by Elomi:
Elomi Nicole Underwire Plunge Bra and Brief Available in Bands 34 - 44 and Cups DD - HH, Briefs M - 4X via NordstromI got this bra as a sample at the beginning of the season and have been raving about it ever since. It doesn’t photograph well at all: it’s just stunning in person. How can you turn down a bra that has both glitter and leopard print? I’ve worn it under things as a standard everyday bra and layered dresses over it like I would a harness. It’s holiday-appropriate, gorgeous and amazingly useful.
Starlet Dress in Blue Velvet from Vixen by Micheline Pitt:
Starlet Dress in Blue Velvet Available in XS - 4X via Vixen by Micheline PittMicheline Pitt (formerly of Pinup Girl Clothing) has gone out on her own to create a curve-friendly clothing line that lends itself to dramatic entrances and vintage romance. This Starlet dress comes in a range of colors, but the blue velvet version is both sophisticated and unexpected. If you need to stand out at the party or the opera, this is the dress.
How do you get into the Holiday or Christmas spirit? Which of these lingerie or clothing styles would you wear?
