Lucky Sew and Sew is a handmade lingerie brand run by a mother and daughter duo. With an impressive size range, they offer two styles of soft nursing bralettes---simple, or strappy. Matching briefs are available to make it a set.

Married and Bright is another handmade brand that focusses on soft bralettes. From glittery, heart-printed mesh to marbled jersey to alligator-inspired lace, there’s an aesthetic for everyone. Behr Bras ran a successfully funded Kickstarter campaign last year. Tired of the ubiquitous beige nursing bra, they wanted to inject some vibrancy and fun into the lingerie drawers of new mothers. Behr Bras makes a single style of soft bra, available with or without nursing clips. It comes in a range of bright colors or fun prints such as camouflage.

Guys, it’s a nursing bodysuit. How cool is that? I told you there were some real gems if you look further afield than the big, well-known maternity brands. Solstice Intimates is a handmade brand with a maternity selection that also includes nursing bralettes and a nursing camisole. All of the pieces come in a wide range of colors or prints. I think this velvet bodysuit would look fabulous in bold red, how about you?

Another Kickstarter success story, Ollie Gray sells one product that they call the ‘Anywhere Bra.’ Similar in style to a low-impact sports bra, it is designed for both nursing and expressing milk. Or for doing yoga! Clasps allow you to open the cups from the top, or you can lift the outer cup layer to attach a breast pump. It comes in black, white and beige, plus three chic prints.

Silent Arrow is a cult Australian lingerie label founded and designed by Kelly Barrett. The brand offers two nursing bras, one wired and one unwired. The favorite Warrior Mama design provides support and comfort without being boring. Wide strapping details create a fresh and modern vibe. Best of all, the magnetic clasps on both bras make opening and fastening the cups with one hand a breeze.
