Nothing says "I love you" quite like boob jewelry.

This post isn't about fancy pasties or nipple rings, though. The kind of boob jewelry I'm talking about symbolizes the power of naked breasts. That short list includes minor stuff like love, sex, and the ability to sustain life. Throughout ancient history, it was the norm to worship boobs. Not for their ability to sexually arouse, but as a way to honor the divine feminine Goddess---Mother Nature.

I made my first boob jewelry purchase around the publication of my first book, bOObs. A Seattle art gallery had a display of Margaux Lange designs in their window. One piece caught my eye because it featured used doll body parts. Specifically, nipple-free Barbie boobs. Like most girls, I had a love/hate relationship with that iconic toy. We played with and tore apart their bodies, limb-by-limb. But those plastic breasts were mesmerizing. And, years later, I bought a matching ring.
